Cowboy Essentials

My fathers ranch is the perfect place to take incredible images of everyday cowboy stuff. He is a packrat of all that he holds dear. No clutter, just essential cowboy accoutrements.

Horseshoes

Salt licks

Tack

Horses
I took these photos in August of last year which is sadly the last time I visited. We really have to visit again, soon.

I have been inspired by my friend Kerry to actually post some more focused photographs that I have taken over the years. The more I look at them, the more beauty I see in the dusty subjects.

Man Z, it's like these are images of my childhood. I can smell the hay...and feel that colt's little velvety-prickly nuzzley muzzle. What a nice way for me to start my day. Thanks.

I am also inspired by Kerry's worldview. This is wonderful!

It's true that I'm transported when I see your photos. You have to get back soon!
