Fluffy cat, and a monkey

So, I am on an animal kick. I don't know why, it just happened.
Here is another cat, a fluffy one with some serious attitude, he thinks he's all 'that'. Little does he know that the sharp end of his pin back is poking out of his bum-bum.

And the evil monkey. He lost his barrel friends so he just wants to hang around your neck. Watch out though, he is only out to cause trouble!

Please don't ask me how I know that. It's embarrassing.

It's amazing how the rising cost of sterling silver causes one to seek alternative metals to play with....one meaning ME! These are copper by the way.

Kitty is a pin now

I successfully soldered on a pin back handmade by me with sterling silver wire...can you believe that? Yes!
So, now I think I have to make like 6 of these or so to appease all my catty friends and their mothers.

South Park Cat

I made this cat out of copper sheet. The eyes are sterling silver wire rivets holding the head to the body.
Scott thinks it looks like a South Park cat, so that is what it is. Heehee.

It's quite small as you can see in my hand. I really don't know what I will do with it yet. It might be a pendant, or a pin.

7 Random Facts

I have been tagged.

I have been tagged before (sorry Kathy) but for some reason or another never completed what was asked of me. I will try my hardest now.

Nancy a friend and an adventurous gal (Please click her name, you will be amazed with her adventures) tagged me to come up with 7 random facts about myself that people may not know, so I am giving this all my gusto.

Here goes...

1. I love to cook, but I hate to clean...a catch 22. Even worse, hubby doesn't like to clean much either, but he loves to eat. What can ya do?

2. I wear Scotts hand-me-downs. Well, this may be too much information, but it is only really sweatshirts and jeans, so it's not that bad.

3. I am a compulsive hand washer. I have to be clean, or I am not happy.

4. I collect tea pots. All different kinds.

5. Since my dishwasher broke, I really enjoy washing dishes by hand. This is absolutely something that I am not proud of, but I find it relaxing and I can think.

6. I wear my ipod when I work in my workshop (front livingroom). There are nights when I have my ipod on for hours at a time. And occasionally I sing to it, and have to yell "what?" when scott is laughing at me.

7. I am a closet rock star. I play guitar and sing, but only for myself.

Tiny Heart Earrings

I guess I am really in the valentines spirit.
Not that I will get anything on valentines day, but I did get diamonds! I had to buy them tho.
